Sophie Joint is a pianist from Glasgow who has been brought up playing classical, Scottish and Irish traditional music.

Having recently graduated from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, she is enjoying a career of performing and teaching within the Scottish music scene. She was recently a finalist in the BBC Young Traditional Musician of The Year competition in 2022, and has been a winner of the Danny Kyle award at Celtic Connections.
